The company has purchased 202 square kilometers of agricultural land worth $800 million in the region since 2017. It is also planned that the city to be established will host 400 thousand people in the long term. Musk, who is the richest person in the world with a fortune of $227 billion, moved the headquarters of electric car manufacturer Tesla from California to Texas due to taxes.
