Past 8th of March we the female Binance angels had a private meeting with Yi He, the cofounder of #Binance
Maybe you already follow CZ, but if you still don´t know Yi He, I hope these chibi key takeaways will bring you a little closer to this actually humble and awesome person.
Why did she joined the financial industry?
Her job was as a TV show host, went to different places, enjoy life, eat nice food.
Then TV industry crashed because of internet so it was time for creating a startup, to go to some event, give some free host, post some social media.
Neither from family nor school, no one teach her about what is money. But she did some research about financial industry and believed this is the new world. Many were only men.
Her traditional family wanted her to become a teacher and marry a teacher or, what people expected, a rich man. But she spoke to them and asked them to “believe in my choice” and finally they supported her.
Then Bitcoin, 8 years ago, crashed and people thought all was a scam. - She spent time to got respect thanks to her experience.
Then she was asked to be a consultant for the exchange in 2017. But crypto crashed and when she went from Chinese to English community, everybody was speaking bad too.
She thought she could run marketing, operation and help to create the startup.
But a very important part is the passion, that you feel you are really changing something, make some magic.
It is important mindset, learning everything from book, from communicating with people. To keep learning is the best way to improve yourself.
Some advice for women?
You don´t need to care about some people when they are against you, what they think about you, when people talk about you but they don´t really know about you. First, forget you are female, you just do yourself.
Just do the right things and continue day by day the result, the result always talks. So make sure the result can happen is important more than you just try to explain to a lot of people.
One topic for education and other for female, so there is a lot of charity campaign in Africa.
Best way is to support women successful because you will get a very good awareness for your family, for your kids and you will build awareness for the future.
How to change marketing in the PR and the user engagement?
Education is too much traditional. Lot of knowledge on the book, especially the school books, is like 100 years ago knowledge, but the world is really improved fast. A good education is a teach net, kids know the world and they are open to mindset, then they can keep learning.
She likes some creative ideas, like innovation. And think about how to deliver right information to the right people.
So PR and marketing strategy is focused online. Know about your clients. Better way is to continue give output and show the result. Use social media more.
For engagement, it´s simple logic, trusting is the most important staff. All social media or engagement in the community is more about how to build trust with a team, with a group member. Helping people, you will earn quality. You really care about user, solve and fix their problem and improve ourselves. It´s like a positive circle.
