During the last crypto bull season of 2021, metaverse tokens outperformed other categories as it drew institutional acceptance from most tech giants, including Facebook (now Meta ) and Alphabet (Googles parent company).
This was as it became obvious that Augmented and Virtual reality are the future of social interactions.
