Orange Comet, a Web3 startup focusing on NFT and Metaverse experiences in the entertainment industry, has completed US$7 million in equity financing and is expected to launch a larger financing later this year.
According to documents submitted to the U.S. SEC on February 23, Orange Comet has raised US$7,243,539 through the sale of equity and securities, with a target total financing of US$20 million.
It is reported that Orange Comet was co-founded in 2021 by TV and film producer Dave Broome, National Football League (NFL) Hall of Fame member Kurt Warner, and musicians Gloria and Emilio Estefan. Orange Comet’s previous partners include actor Anthony Hopkins and NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen. (CoinDesk)
