Voyager tweeted that the Voyager customer vote on the company's Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization plan has been completed and finalized.
Of those who voted, 97% of customers, representing 98% of total claims, voted in favor. More information will be released after Thursday’s hearing.
As previously reported, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) opposed Voyager Digital's third bankruptcy reorganization plan, saying it would illegally prevent the company from being held accountable for "actual fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence." Bankruptcy Judge Michael Wiles conditionally approved Voyager's reorganization plan on January 13, and a hearing to confirm the plan is scheduled for March 2 in Manhattan.
Voyager Digital filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on July 6 last year. The company submitted its first, second and third reorganization plans in August, October and December respectively. (Planet Daily)
