I want to talk about a topic today:

What should you do when a project recommended by a KOL goes away?

In the past two days, a project called#xKingdom(xpet imitation disk) ran away, and the KOLs of two recommended projects were pushed to the forefront.

@sanyi_eth_ @JiamigouCn

1. Why do KOLs recommend projects?

There are basically only a few situations where KOL recommends projects:

- Collect money to perform services and advertise.

-A truly high-quality project is a project with high financing, a high-quality team, and even a fool can see that it is a good thing.

-The quality of the project is unknown, and the invitation benefits are very high.

-Long-term output to create brand effect.

Therefore, promoting projects is nothing more than fame and fortune, and at the same time attracting traffic and fans.

If it were anyone else, it would basically be the same. This is human nature and understandable.

2. Is this escape project related to the above two people?

Based on the above inference, I personally think that the project party should have given them certain benefits (U or white orders or NFT). Other than that, it probably doesn’t matter much.

To put it simply, it is a relationship between collecting money and advertising. This is the norm for KOLs in the circle, and everyone understands it clearly, rather than being an "accomplice of the project party".

Everyone thinks about it, @sanyi_eth_ @JiamigouCn

They are all people with huge traffic in their own circles. Although they may not have 500E, they definitely have dozens of E. As a KOL, there is no need to destroy the persona and traffic you have worked hard to build for 10 times the income, and there is no need to be Karma Risking personal safety is not cost-effective at all.

If they really want to take advantage of the money and run away, 500E should not catch their eye.

3. As a KOL, if the recommended project is gone, do I need to be held responsible?

Personally think: needed.

It is necessary to actively handle fans’ demands and assist them in safeguarding their rights and finding the project side to recover losses.

When KOL recommends projects, they always say "you are responsible for your profits and losses, DYOR". If there is any problem, they always say "just cancel it".

The question is, after withdrawal, can the rug funds be returned?

No, then what's the point of saying these words?

Of course, fans also have their own reasons for losing money. How can they lose money if they don't invest greedily? But KOLs themselves also have certain responsibilities, because they have traffic and influence. The greater their ability, the greater their responsibility. It cannot be completely exonerated by saying "DYOR".

It’s very simple. When a KOL receives invitation rewards from fans, why don’t they say “unsubscribe”?

KOL is not a KOL of one person, but a KOL given by fans. Water can carry or capsize a boat. Please respect every fan, they are real people. They all have their own families, their own lives, and their own stories, and they don’t just disappear after being released.

If KOL’s fans really unsubscribe, KOL will no longer exist. Some KOLs with tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of fans have benefited from the development of #Web3, but without their fans, they are nothing.

I hope #web3.0 can be more responsible people and take responsibility for their own reputation.
