3️⃣ Technology tree theory: I believe that certain technologies are prerequisites for other technologies. If we can foresee the arrival of certain technologies that can alleviate or introduce design constraints, how will this change our design? If we have specific goals or specific constraints, what technology do we need? Technology will alleviate these constraints and make these goals possible again through new mechanisms.
