Robinhood cryptocurrency trading volume increases 95% in January

Robinhood reported that cryptocurrency trading volume increased 95% in January from the previous month to $3.7 billion. Since December 2022, notional trading volumes for stocks, options, and cryptocurrencies have increased in January. The company said equities were $46 billion, up 19%, and options contracts were 82.9 million, up 10%.

Monthly active users (MAUs) at the end of January were 12 million, an increase of 600,000 from December. Assets under custody (AUC) at the end of January were $74.7 billion, up 20% from the end of December.
