On Dec. 27, a fortunate trade was highlighted by the blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain, showcasing a Solana holder who acquired approximately $2 million after investing in a memecoin.
Starting with just 1.5 SOL, the trader discovered Silly Dragon (SILLY), a meme token featuring a whimsical dragon as its mascot, on Dec. 5.
Within five minutes of the memecoin's trading launch, the trader swapped 1 SOL, valued at around $62, for 43 million SILLY tokens. Around 22 days later, the value of these tokens escalated to approximately $2 million, propelled by SILLY's surge to unprecedented highs, resulting in a market capitalization exceeding $123 million.
According to on-chain records, the trader has already withdrawn around $528,000 while retaining approximately $1.5 million worth of tokens in the wallet.
