This announcement is in preparation for miner verification (eKYC) and partner miner certification. We believe that by explaining the importance of providing ownership information , is a way to ensure genuine miners take the correct steps to ensure KYC operations run smoothly.

Your account ownership information is one of the data used to match the KYC information you will provide when performing KYC. This is an effective way to screen fake accounts from requiring verification. Also an effective way to prevent buying and selling of mining accounts.
