According to Odaily Planet Daily, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin said on social media that developers should realize that 32 ETH is a higher threshold for stakers than bandwidth requirements.
He suggested that bandwidth requirements could be slightly increased in exchange for lowering the minimum staking deposit to 16 or 24 ETH, which would be good for both staking accessibility and scale.
Once Ethereum completes the peerdas upgrade, bandwidth requirements will drop and after orbit SSF is completed, the deposit minimum can be reduced to 1 ETH.
