According to Foresight News, the security company CertiK recently released (Hack3d: Web3.0 Security Report for the Third Quarter of 2024). The report shows that there were 155 security incidents in the third quarter of 2024, with a loss of US$753 million, and the total loss increased by about 9.5% compared with the previous quarter.
Phishing and private key leaks were the main causes of asset losses this quarter, causing a total loss of $668 million. As of the third quarter, the total loss in 2024 is close to $2 billion.
