Blockchain oracle provider RedStone has announced the integration of its price feed solution into The Open Network (TON) blockchain, Cointelegraph reported.

RedStone COO Marcin Kazmierczak said this is the first oracle integration on TON, and despite the technical challenges, it will provide real-time and accurate asset prices to developers and projects on TON.

Kazmierczak explained that TON’s design makes its technology more challenging to integrate than Ethereum-based systems, particularly its specialized sharding mechanism and complex messaging system.

Kazmierczak also noted that the oracle integration has broad implications for the TON ecosystem, particularly in the decentralized finance (DeFi) space and supporting its rich GameFi and social ecosystems.

RedStone completed a $15 million Series A funding round on July 3 to expand its oracle products. The financing was led by Arrington Capital, and other participating investment companies include Spartan, SevenX and IOSG Ventures.
