According to BlockBeats, on September 12, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin addressed a suggestion on social media from a Twitter user advising him to stop selling ETH. Buterin explained that the recent ETH sale was initiated by a bio-defense organization he funds. The sale was triggered by an automated CoW Swap TWAP order set up on August 29. He confirmed that this was the final order.

CoW Swap, a decentralized exchange aggregator, offers Time-Weighted Average Price (TWAP) orders. These orders allow traders to spread transactions over a specified period to stabilize market price fluctuations and achieve an average market price for their holdings.
