According to TechFlow, the first debate of the 2024 US presidential election will be held on ABC News Channel at 9 pm Eastern Time on September 10. Vice President Kamala Harris will face off against Donald Trump for the first time.

A Benzinga survey of 133 adults conducted from September 9 to 10 showed that only 6% of respondents would most like to hear the two candidates discuss cryptocurrency. About 45% said they would prefer to hear the candidates talk about the economy and jobs, and 24% suggested discussing immigration.

Trump has claimed support for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies during his 2024 campaign, while Vice President Harris has said little about her stance on digital asset policy. It is unclear whether ABC hosts Linsey Davis and David Muir will ask the candidates questions about cryptocurrencies or blockchain.
