According to Odaily Planet Daily, Animoca Brands co-founder Yat Siu said at the Korea Blockchain Week that without UGC, the Internet is worthless.
When asked about what’s next for Animoca Brands, Yat Siu acknowledged that the company’s future is in flux but nothing is set in stone yet. He stressed that the company will continue to invest in growing the Web3 ecosystem.
Yat Siu also said that cryptocurrencies need institutional support. Compared with traditional finance, more than 80% of investment in the U.S. stock market comes from institutions. The rise of institutional-grade tokens will determine the future of the altcoin market.
Regarding the incident between TON CEO Pavel Durov and France, Yat Siu said he was not nervous and the ecosystem was constantly developing.
