According to ChainCatcher, mobile publisher Zynga announced that it has abandoned its Web3 game Sugartown and sold all products and assets of the game to Web3 developer D20 Labs. The specific amount has not been disclosed.
Zynga first released Sugartown last year, using Web3 and blockchain technology to develop games. D20's marketing director pointed out that the studio is composed entirely of Zynga's former Web3 team. The handover has been prepared for several months and intends to continue the plans of the original game Web3 team.
