According to a report by Jinshi, Michael Brown, senior research strategist at Pepperstone, said that U.S. Treasuries may continue their gains on Tuesday, especially long-term bonds. He pointed out that although safe-haven demand may drive the rally, if this demand continues and the Fed's outlook is repriced as hawkish, front-end Treasuries may be sold off again and the curve will steepen. He also believes that the money market's expectations that the Fed will cut interest rates by 100 basis points by the end of the year are too optimistic.
