As of July 1, there are 2,788 full-time developers on Ethereum, bringing the total number of developers to more than 8,865, Wu reported.
The Base blockchain is in second place with 889 full-time developers and 3,991 in total.
Polygon has 834 full-time developers and 2,877 total.
Ethereum and Polygon saw their annual developer counts drop by 10% and 26% respectively, while Base saw a 14% increase.
