An Indian court has ordered the closure of 38 websites that used the name of cryptocurrency exchange Mudrex to conduct fraud, according to WuSay. The ruling was issued by the Delhi High Court on August 23 and required the Indian Ministry of Communications to implement the order within a week.

Edul Patel, CEO and co-founder of Mudrex, said the company has taken legal action since receiving reports from customers. About 15 customers have contacted their customer support after being defrauded, and it is estimated that the number of victims may reach 1,000, with losses exceeding $50,000.

These scammers impersonated Mudrex employees through Telegram to post fake website information.
