According to PANews, Mike Collins, who has represented Georgia's 10th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2023, has disclosed three altcoin investments during his tenure. Financial disclosure reports submitted by Congressman Collins between July and August reveal that he purchased $15,000 worth of Velodrome (VELO), $15,000 worth of The Graph (GRT), and $115,000 worth of Aerodrome Finance (AERO). The same disclosures indicate that on August 4, Collins partially sold his AERO holdings and subsequently bought between $15,001 and $50,000 worth of AERO on August 5.
The documents highlight that Congressman Collins is among the few U.S. lawmakers actively trading smaller market cap tokens, a practice that differs from trading more established cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. However, it is noteworthy that Collins also disclosed a purchase of $65,000 worth of Ethereum in January of this year.
