According to Odaily Planet Daily, OpenSea announced on the X platform that it had received the Wells Notice from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, but was shocked by its actions threatening creators and artists.
OpenSea says itâs ready to fight for the industry and intends to offer $5 million to cover legal fees for NFT artists and developers who receive Wellsâ notice.
