According to Foresight News, the CEO of South Korean virtual asset custody company Haru Invest was attacked in court on August 28. The incident occurred around 14:20 local time at the 15th Criminal Division of the Seoul Southern District Court, presided over by Chief Judge Yang Hwan-seung, during the eighth public hearing of the case.
Reports indicate that a man in his 40s, who was seated in the courtroom gallery, suddenly stood up and repeatedly stabbed the CEO in the neck with a short knife approximately 5 centimeters long, which he had concealed in his clothing. The attack took place while the CEO was seated in the defendant's area.
