According to PANews, the UAE has made a request to the French government to urgently provide all necessary consular services to Durov, who was arrested in France on Saturday in connection with a cybercrime investigation.
The UAE is closely following the case of its citizen, Telegram founder Pavel Durov, who was arrested by French authorities at Paris-Le Bourget Airport, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
