According to TechFlow, Josh Stark, a member of the Ethereum Foundation (EF), revealed that EF is about to release the latest financial report covering 2022 and 2023, which is expected to be announced before the Devcon SEA conference.
According to the report preview, EF's expenditure structure shows a balance between internal and external expenditures. Internal expenditures account for about 38% of total expenditures, mainly used for the research and development of core teams such as Geth, Privacy and Extension Exploration (PSE), Solidity, and encryption research.
External spending accounted for 62%, mainly in the form of grants to organizations such as the Nomic Foundation, Decentralization Research Centre, L2Beat, and 0xPARC Foundation.
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin responded to this and revealed that his annual salary is 182,000 Singapore dollars (about 135,000 US dollars).
