Amazon Web Services CEO Matt Garman predicts that artificial intelligence could replace programmers within two years, according to PANews. Garman believes that this is not about eliminating developers completely, but about redefining their roles.

Previously, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said AI will allow “everyone to be a programmer” without having to know anything about coding, and Microsoft’s Satya Nadella predicted that AI will create 1 billion new developers using the exact same premise.

Last year, Emad Mostaque, former CEO of Stability AI, predicted that “in five years there will be no more programmers.”
