According to PANews, on-chain analyst Yu Jin has reported that the government of El Salvador has been purchasing one Bitcoin (BTC) daily since March 16, 2023. This consistent acquisition has been ongoing for over five months, resulting in a total accumulation of 160 BTC, valued at approximately $10.31 million.
Currently, the total amount of BTC held by the El Salvadoran government stands at 5,850 BTC, with an estimated value of around $355.83 million. The average cost of these holdings is $44,835 per BTC. The government has seen a floating profit of about $93.45 million, reflecting a 35% increase in value.
