Earlier, it was reported that Kim Nam-guk held virtual currencies such as Wemix coin, Mabrex, and Bora worth up to 6 billion won (about 4.48 million U.S. dollars), which aroused public suspicion about the source and purpose of his investment funds. He is also suspected of using undisclosed information obtained from the gaming industry to conduct improper transactions and make profits by purchasing coins at low prices.
