According to PANews, OpenAI has entered into a multi-year partnership with global magazine giant Condé Nast. This agreement allows ChatGPT and its search engine, SearchGPT, to display content from renowned publications such as Vogue, The New Yorker, and GQ. This marks the latest collaboration between OpenAI and a major media company.
While some media companies like The New York Times and the Chicago Tribune have opposed the use of their content for AI training and have taken legal measures to protect their material, Condé Nast views this partnership as a means to safeguard and invest in its journalistic and creative endeavors. OpenAI launched its AI-driven search engine, SearchGPT, last month and is actively working with the media industry to enhance this platform.
