According to PANews, ENS Labs, the developer of Ethereum Name Service (ENS), is working with digital identity provider Dentity to integrate verifiable credentials on the chain. The two companies said that this integration will enable ENS users to associate their on-chain identities with their real-world identities, giving them the ability to decide the scope of information they share.

With this integration, ENS users can maintain control over publicly accessible personally identifiable information while ensuring that such information is not stored on-chain. Khori Whittaker, executive director of ENS Labs, noted that the two companies are bridging the gap between off-chain and on-chain identity.

Dentity users can now connect their identities to their ENS domains using a newly developed integration.
