According to TechFlow, the El Salvador National Bitcoin Office (ONBTC) announced that it will provide Bitcoin training and certification for 80,000 government employees.

The 160-hour training program, called Public Administration Certification 1, is divided into seven modules covering aspects of the strategic management of Bitcoin as a legal tender and public policy.

ONBTC Director Stacy Herbert said that training civil servants will have a "compounding effect" on El Salvador's bitcoin-driven economy, and plans to announce more educational programs. The certification is implemented by the Higher School of Public Administration Innovation (ESIAP) and aims to promote the standards of excellence in government governance and public administration in El Salvador.
