Analysis: In the second quarter, the number of institutions holding IBIT and FBTC increased by 34% and 25% respectively from the previous quarter.

According to Odaily Planet Daily, Trader T released data on the main institutions holding Bitcoin spot ETFs in Q2:
1. BlackRock IBIT: 582 institutional holders, up 34% from the previous month; 118 million shares, excluding options, up 47% from the previous month;
2. Fidelity FBTC: 303 institutional holders, up 25% month-on-month; 50.4 million shares, excluding options, up 35% month-on-month;
3. Bitwise BITB: 139 institutional holders, up 35% month-on-month; 14.7 million shares, excluding options, up 50% month-on-month.
