According to PANews, Dennis Kelleher, president and CEO of Better Markets, said that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has a 90% chance of winning the lawsuit filed by Ripple over XRP. He criticized the court's decision as flawed, arguing that the judge in the Ripple case applied the law incorrectly.
Earlier news, Ripple's legal director expected the SEC to appeal, although the probability of overturning the lower court's decision was less than 10%.
