Google has been sued for $5 million for a malicious crypto wallet app, according to WuSay. The victim, Maria Vaca, has filed a lawsuit against Google in a California court, accusing Google of allowing such dangerous apps to be available on the Play Store platform, resulting in the theft of $5 million in digital assets.

In April 2024, Google sued several fraudulent crypto apps and exchanges, claiming that these apps used fake identities and misleading information to bypass Google security checks and defraud more than 100,000 people worldwide.
