According to BlockBeats, on August 13, cryptocurrency custody company Copper partnered with Hedera to expand institutional access to HBAR tokens.

Copper will provide custody and staking services for HBAR tokens and provide institutional users with access to DeFi through its ClearLoop and Connect platforms.

The partnership will allow institutional investors to easily and securely enter the Hedera ecosystem. Copper is chaired by former UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond and has over 300 large institutional and crypto exchange clients.
