According to Odaily Planet Daily, the New York Fed's survey of consumer expectations showed that one-year inflation expectations were 2.97% in July, slightly lower than 3.02% in the previous month.
Median inflation expectations for the next three years fell sharply by 0.66% to 2.3%, the lowest since the survey began in June 2013.
The New York Fed said perceptions of credit access deteriorated in July compared with a year ago, with an increase in the share of households reporting that it was harder to get credit than a year ago.
