According to BlockBeats, IBM recently launched a new "lightweight engine" WatsonX.ai service, mainly for corporate customers. The engine is seen as an important breakthrough for small and medium-sized enterprises in emerging industries such as fintech to adopt generative AI.

Unlike similar cloud services provided by Microsoft, Google and other companies, IBM's solution supports local deployment and can better meet the financial industry's requirements for data security and compliance.

JPMorgan Chase recently purchased enterprise-level access to Chat GPT for its entire 60,000 employees. IBM said they wanted a smaller footprint platform to help companies optimize costs and effectively deploy generative AI solutions.
