According to U.Today, skilled commodity trader Peter Brandt, known for his support of Bitcoin and Solana, has clarified his stance on Ethereum in a recent post on the X platform. Brandt, who has often criticized Ethereum and previously slammed XRP, stated that his disdain for Ethereum is not as strong as it appears from his posts. He explained that his frequent jabs at Ethereum are a response to the trolling he receives from Ethereum enthusiasts, whom he refers to as 'ETHaholics.' Brandt emphasized that he trolls back whenever he gets a chance, as a form of retaliation against his worst trolls on the platform.
Earlier this week, Brandt tweeted that he believes Solana has become a 'clear winner' against Ethereum, describing Solana as 'user-friendly' with a 'great foundation,' while labeling Ethereum as 'cumbersome, expensive, flawed, and falsely claiming to be decentralized.' He predicted that Solana would gain 100% on Ethereum in the coming months.
In addition to his comments on Ethereum, Brandt expressed his growing dissatisfaction with the X platform, formerly known as Twitter. He shared that he values his time, especially considering his advancing age, and is disappointed with the lack of engagement with 'real traders' on the platform. Brandt claimed that engagement on his tweets significantly decreased in November/December 2022 and that he has data to support this claim. He accused the X staff of not acknowledging or researching the algorithms responsible for this reduction in engagement.
As a result, Brandt announced his intention to seek new platforms for publishing his trading content. He mentioned exploring options such as YouTube for videos, public blogs, Discord, Substack, LinkedIn, and other platforms where he can avoid trolls. Brandt plans to continue sharing his knowledge with private members in a closed group, aiming to make the best use of his remaining time on social media for a generational transfer of knowledge.
