According to Odaily Planet Daily, the U.S. stock market opened sharply lower on Monday, and Republican presidential candidate Trump described the severe losses of the U.S. stock index as the "Kamala Crash." Kamala refers to Kamala Harris, the presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party in the 2024 presidential election.
On the social media platform Truth Social, Trump insisted he would not cause such an impact, and wrote in capital letters: "Trump-Cash VS Kamala-Crash!"
Earlier, Trump claimed at a rally in Atlanta, Georgia that if Harris was elected president, she would "destroy" the U.S. economy, citing the recent rise in the unemployment rate to 4.3%.
