According to BlockBeats, on July 18, some users in the Mt. Gox creditor sub-forum "r/mtgoxinsolvency" on the Reddit platform reported problems logging into their accounts on the Mt. Gox website.
Other users shared screenshots showing a large number of unauthorized login attempts to their accounts. Some users worried that this was a "brute force" attack on Mt. Gox creditors, while others thought it might just be a website glitch.
The Mt. Gox website has entered maintenance mode following the incident.
