According to Odaily Planet Daily, Bitwise said that the spot Ethereum ETF is expected to be launched in the United States next week, which will push the price of ETH to an all-time high of more than US$5,000.
Chief investment officer Matt Hougan wrote in a note on Tuesday that price action could start to become choppy due to outflows from the $11 billion Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ETHE) following its conversion to an ETF, which may not happen immediately.
Still, “by year end, I believe ETH will be setting new highs,” Hougan wrote, “and prices could be higher if flows prove stronger than many market commentators anticipate.”
