According to BlockBeats, on July 16, Polygon released the latest version of its zero-knowledge proof system Plonky3, which is designed to be more flexible than previous models. The proof system is the core of zero-knowledge aggregation and a key component of multi-layer distributed network encryption security.
It is a technology responsible for creating proofs summarizing off-chain transactions so that information can be fed back to underlying blockchains such as Ethereum. This system ensures that transactions were correctly executed or the state of the blockchain was correctly updated.
Plonky3 is now available as open source software under the MIT and Apache licenses.
