According to Foresight News, the modular blockchain project Avail announced the establishment of a foundation in Switzerland and will gradually transfer all IP related to the Avail protocol to the Avail Foundation. The foundation will focus on cultivating and developing the ecosystem around the Avail protocol.
Key initiatives include funding, development and research, as well as education, adoption and community engagement, designed to help Avail become a leader in blockchain scalability and interoperability, while ensuring the benefits of the ecosystem are accessible to all.
The initial foundation board includes Avail co-founders Anurag Arjun and Prabal Banerjee, Andreas Traum, partner at PwC Germany’s Financial Services Advisory, and Richard Harker, head of client services at Centralis Group.
