According to Foresight News, the privacy-first social protocol Rarimo launched the application RariMe. The application allows users to generate a passport zero-knowledge proof (ZK) to verify the uniqueness of an individual without exposing their identity. Rarimo uses a smartphone to scan a passport and verify the user's identity. The authentication framework usually approves the credentials by a third party, but ZK ensures that no personal data is shared when verifying the identity.
