According to Foresight News, Circle, a stablecoin issuer, has announced the expansion of its Web3 services to the Solana network. This expansion begins with programmable wallets and Gas Stations on Solana, enabling the Solana developer community to seamlessly embed secure, intuitive, and enterprise-level wallets.
The support of Circle's Web3 services for Solana will be carried out in stages. In the first phase, programmable wallets and Gas Stations will be supported on Solana. More specifically, its API supports the transfer of alternative tokens and can sponsor transaction fees on behalf of end users. Future versions will include support for NFTs and program interactions through smart contract platforms. These updates can unlock support for other use cases, such as brand loyalty and NFT integration in games, as well as the ability to interact with and deploy programs on Solana.
