Significant growth in tokenized treasury bonds and real-world assets in 2024, with the RWA track growing by 35%

According to Odaily Planet Daily, tokenized treasury bonds and real world assets (RWA) protocols have experienced significant growth in 2024. Since April, surge in demand for Treasuries, bonds and cash equivalents, including U.S. Treasury tokenized assets, has led to a 35% growth in the RWA track. RWA Key player in the DeFi space @OndoFinance’s total value locked (TVL) increased from $221 million to $507 million, while BlackRock’s BUIDL and @FTI_US’s FOBXX reported increases of 65% and nearly 27% respectively.
