According to U.Today, Lucie, the official marketing expert of the SHIB developer team, recently addressed the ongoing criticism and fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD) directed towards SHIB and Shibarium. In a series of posts, she assured followers that the team is committed to the project for the long term, despite the negativity. Lucie quoted Winston S. Churchill, saying that one cannot reach their destination if they stop to throw stones at every dog that barks, indicating the team's determination to move forward despite the criticism.
In addition to addressing the critics, Lucie also shared a recap of the significant progress made by the project this year. The updates included advancements on Shibarium, a layer-2 blockchain solution. The developers have managed to enhance scalability and efficiency within the ecosystem and integrate the Shibdentity initiative, aimed at creating a new era of digital identity.
Earlier this year, the SHIB team successfully raised $12 million in funding to support the development of a layer-3 blockchain on top of Shibarium. This new chain is designed to focus on privacy, improve transaction speed, and reduce gas fees. Before securing this substantial funding, SHIB lead Shytoshi Kusama traveled globally to negotiate with potential investors, keeping the community in suspense with his frequent location changes.
Among the team's recent achievements was their participation in the annual Token2049 blockchain conference in Dubai. This event provided an opportunity for the team to showcase their progress and interact with other industry leaders.
