According to Odaily, Ledger has started delivering its new product, the Ledger Stax hardware wallet, to customers who pre-ordered it over a year ago. The initial release date of the product was postponed. On December 6, 2022, at its Web3 developer conference, Ledger Op3n, Ledger revealed that it had collaborated with Tony Fadell, the inventor of the iPod, to develop a new hardware wallet called Ledger Stax. However, the product was not delivered as promised.
The Stax was originally scheduled for release in March 2023, but reportedly encountered delays due to manufacturing issues. On Reddit, some community members expressed dissatisfaction and skepticism about the delivery. Fourteen months after the initial release date, Ledger announced in a press release that it had begun shipping to pre-order customers.
