According to ChainCatcher, Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson said that she is a big fan of blockchain technology. The company conducted a parallel experiment to process account records using traditional methods and blockchain for six to eight months. The results were very positive, "We were surprised at how much lower the cost of running it on the chain was."
“Blockchain is a very efficient technology,” Johnson said. “We think blockchain will bring a lot of new investment opportunities, and all ETFs and mutual funds will eventually appear on the chain.”
Additionally, Johnson acknowledged the usefulness of generative AI systems, but also warned that it is a bit like "a student who excels in English but fails in math."
