According to Foresight News, court documents reveal that another individual involved with OneCoin, William Morro, has been arrested. He was involved in a scheme related to the sourcing of funds for OneCoin and misrepresented these funds' origins to banks. Morro participated in transferring about $35 million related to OneCoin to Hong Kong accounts and approximately $6 million to U.S. accounts.
In previous news from Foresight, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York announced that OneCoin co-founder Karl Sebastian Greenwood was sentenced to 20 years in prison for his actions. Greenwood, 46, holds dual citizenship in Sweden and the UK. In addition to his prison sentence, he was ordered to forfeit approximately $300 million.
